Baba Ijesha: “I can never be silenced”- actress Iyabo Ojo doubles down after TAMPAN ban

Yoruba actress Iyabo Ojo has doubled down on her resolve on Baba Ijesha sexual assault saga following the decision of the leadership of the Theater Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria TAMPAN to bar movie producers and directors from working with her for having social media fights with some of her colleagues.

The actress had publicly attacked her colleague, Yomi Fabiyi after he shared message of solidarity with embattled Baba Ijesha.

Last month, Baba Ijesha was recorded on hidden camera sexually molesting a sixteen years old girl – the daughter of comedienne Princess while he was living in with the family.

However, speaking to the press on Sunday, veteran actor Jide Kosoko, pledged that the leadership of the Theater Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria, TAMPAN, will frustrate anyone speaking out on the Baba Ijesha saga out of the industry.

The leadership of TAMPAN held a press briefing where they directed movie producers and directors to stop working with Iyabo Ojo and another actress, who has also being defiant, Nkechi Blessing Sunday. The actresses were accused of engaging in social media fights with their other colleagues over the Baba Ijesha alleged rape incident.

Kosoko while addressing the press said the association will work against Nkechi.

”Nkechi Blessing has been suspended. She is not our member. I make bold to tell you this, we will work against her in this industry.”

Meanwhile, both ladies have simply doubled down. Iyabo Ojo respoded in a post shared on her IG page this morning, simply stating that she cannot be silenced. See her post below

Nkechi Sunday Blessing, the other actress who was also threatened with suspension hit back directly at Jide Kosoko.

“If I open mouth about this particular man, his grown-up daughters will be ashamed of him,” she wrote on Instagram.
