Meet the upcoming artist that found a shortcut to benefit from the superstar’s global fame.

About six months ago, an upcoming artist identified as Nathaniel started creating social media profiles under the pseudonym @WiseKidAya.

He was deliberately infringing on the WizKid Ayo brand name, he did not stop there. He created a replica of Wizkid’s Made in Lagos album and uploaded it to music platforms and he started cashing out almost N30 million a month in streams and sales revenue being shared with him.

He called his own version of Made in Lagos, Lasgidi Made, and most streamers either didn’t notice the difference or clicked on his album in error.

As a result of Wizkid’s popularity, Wisekid was able to garner more than 9 million plays per month from 130k daily listeners.

Everything was going smoothly for him until he started bragging about his popularity on social media, that was when he caught people’s attention who described him as a scammer.

Wisekid’s account has since been deleted on Twitter, and his streaming accounts have also been deleted for copyright violation.

Most music lovers are beginning to ask how this was allowed to happen by streaming companies who allowed copyright materials on their platforms for months and even made payments without the necessary verifications.

One fan wrote: “I don’t even know what to say about this. You mean WizKid and his entire management had no idea of this? Not even his record label? I’m so angry right now.”

Another wrote: “The part that killed me is that he did not even try this with upcoming artistes or smaller artistes.. Wizkid??? Really??? Dfkm”

The governor gifted Burna Boy with the cash during an event to welcome him back home after winning at the Grammys on Saturday, March 28, 2021.

In a video shared via her Instagram page on Sunday, March 28, the reality TV star said BurnaBoy even deserved a public holiday in his honor for his achievement.

“You are mad, you are legit mad to think what Governor Wike did for Burna Boy yesterday was unnecessary. Y’all don’t know my state you all don’t freaking know my state. The nightlife is completely dead. For him to be like Burna come down lemme give you 10 million naira and you people are thinking that it is too much? You are crazy,” she said.

“Burna Boy should have the whole town he won a Grammy o, not some plastic award. He won a whole Grammy, that’s what Burna Boy won. He should even have a public holiday dedicated to him. Meanwhile, you are all here crying and lamenting. You are mad! You are all mad.”

Tacha’s video came barely 24 hours after Gov Wike announced in another viral video that he was gifting Burna Boy N10million alongside other musicians who performed at a homecoming party in Port Harcourt organised in his honour by Rivers State Governor.

Other reports also claimed the musician was also given a plot of land in the GRA of Port Harcourt to build for himself a home.

Gov Wike faced heavy criticism from those who argued giving an already wealthy artist N10 million amounted to a waste of government resources.

Professor Ojerinde, who was arrested on 15th March 2021, in Abuja, by operatives of ICPC, is alleged to have committed multiple frauds while heading JAMB and the National Examination Council (NECO).

A statement released by the commission says Ojerinde has been detained by the Commission for questioning over allegations of multiple identities, abuse of office, money laundering, tax evasion, and making false statements to public officials. The former JAMB boss is also being questioned by the Commission for allegedly awarding fraudulent contracts to shell companies that cannot be traced.

”He was alleged to have awarded contracts for the supply of pencil and eraser at the cost of N450 million each, to Double 07 Concept Limited and Pristine Global Concept Limited, respectively, between 2013 and 2014 while heading JAMB.

There is no evidence to show that the items which are examination materials were supplied as the contractors cannot be found.

Similar contracts were allegedly awarded to Solid Figures Limited, Holywalk Limited and other companies for various sums without any trace of executions.

Professor Ojerinde is being held on a remand warrant and will soon be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigation.’ the statement read in part.

Ojerinde was at the helm of JAMB between 2005 and 2015.

In 2015, when his successor Prof Oloyede took charge of JAMB, he reported an excess revenue of N5 billion within the first year, an incident which first bought Ojerinde’s tenure under scrutiny.

JAMB is Nigeria’s examination body which conducts entrance examinations into tertiary institutions across the country.

Her catchphrase “This Is Not My Real Face Oh” quickly became household slang and a source of fascination for the kid whose actions and words defied her age.

Emanuella’s daring yet hilarious actions evoked laughter and curiosity as to who the little girl was.

She has since then became a vital part of the Mark Angel comedy group.

Tory McKenzie, 41, set up a motion-activated camera at her son’s house after complaints his two-year-old daughter, Amber McKenzie, was talking to an unseen person in the middle of the night.

The grandma checked her camera’s records four days later to find an image of a creature standing close to the sleeping child and her seven-month-old brother Michael McKenzie.

The grandma said the creature had “a horn on its head and long claws”.

The creature was captured standing awkwardly, looking upwards just before 3am.

Tory says the discovery has left her fearing for her grandchildren’s lives.

When she tried to rid the house of the “evil presence” by burning oils, she claims cabinets and curtains opened and closed and music began to play by itself.

Tory, a mother-of-five from Las Vegas, Nevada, shared her story via a paranormal Facebook page to ask for advice.

People were horrified and warned her to sell the house as they agreed the creature looked demonic.

Some sceptics said the photo is fake but the  grandma hit back, insisting she just wants to protect her family and does not have the technical knowhow to have changed the image.

The family have recorded orbs floating around the children’s bedroom, but the new image, captured in January 2021, has caused their father Ryan to take Amber and Michael out of their room and into his.

Grandma Tory said: “It was so shocking when I saw it. I had to do a double take. The first thing I saw was horns on its head, so you immediately think it’s the devil or a demon.

“When we caught videos of the orbs we thought it was a family member looking after the kids, but that picture, I have no idea. It’s terrifying.

“I showed the kids and my 13-year-old son was scared by it. I ran over to the house and showed my eldest son. We were just in shock and he couldn’t explain it either.

“Everybody was asleep, so it couldn’t have been my son or his partner. We have still shots of him in there and it looks nothing like that. I know that it’s something supernatural.

“Ryan has moved the kids out of their room and into his room. Nothing bad has happened to them yet, but it’s the fact that it could.

“The two-year-old isn’t scared of [the figure] and thinks it’s her friend, but one night she told it to ‘go away’.

“For the most part everybody’s been supportive, suggesting what to do and who to speak to. I just want to get rid of whatever it is.

“I’m not that talented when it comes to technology to fake the photo, and I didn’t share it on my own page so it’s not like I was trying to get attention from it.”

Tory says the two-bed condo is only around 20 years old, so she’s surprised it would harbour such a dark presence.

Tory, a cardiologist lives with her four other children Jonathan McKenzie, 19, Melissa McKenzie, 17, Travis McKenzie, 16, and Nicholas McKenzie, 13, a few minutes’ walk away from Ryan and his partner Alicia Johnson.

The veteran actor stated that women in this part of the world who abandon their homes due to their husband’s sexual promiscuity are only copying the ways of women in western worlds.

Citing King Solomon who had 300 wives and 700 concubines, the 74-year-old told women with philandering husbands to remain in their marriages.

Controversial Ghanaian prophet, Prince Elisha Osei Kofi has prophesied that only effective prayers can prevent the spirit of death that looms around Nigerian singer, Davido.

In a viral video which he shared on March 12, 2021, the Prophet revealed that there is a deadly plot against the Nigerian musician in the spiritual realm.

According to the Osei Kofi, he saw in a vision that Davido would be shot dead at a night club, pub or evening event.

He said in part:

“I saw in the vision that Davido will be shot in a meeting at an event that took place at night. They rushed him to the hospital and pronounced him dead. Let us pray to avoid the spirit of death. Every attack against him must be destroyed….

The monarch was admitted in a hospital in KwaZulu-Natal last week to monitor his diabetic condition.

The king’s prime minister announced the death on Friday, March 12 in a statement released from the palace, he also thanked South Africa for its “continued prayers and support in this most difficult time”.

King of the Zulu nation, King Goodwill Zwelithini, was a direct descendent of King Cetshwayo who led the Zulu nation during the war with the British in 1879.
