Rapper on trial charged with cutting off man’s PENIS in a bid to generate online video views
A Spanish rapper in the city of Zaragoza is going on trial accused of cutting off a British teacher’s penis with a 12-inch kitchen knife for 200 Euros, DailyMail reports.
According to the charge sheet, 35-year-old Briton, an English teacher identified only as Andrew B, agreed to have his penis amputated and payment would depend on the number of times video of the amputation was viewed on social media.
The rapper Aaron Beltran, if found guilty of a crime of wounding, state prosecutors would demand he be jailed for four years and six months.
Prosecutors say the amputation happened on March 8, 2019, and the minimum payment agreed would be 200 Euros and the maximum 2,500 Euros depending on the number of online views.
Prosecutors admit the amputation was consensual but argue that does not exempt the Spaniard set to stand trial from criminal responsibility.
Andrew whose penis was cut off has not pressed charges and has waived his right to compensation.
He spent three weeks in hospital after the incident before returning to the UK.
His penis was successfully re-attached during an operation and is understood to be functioning properly.
Beltran’s lawyer is expected to argue in court his client was not responsible for the amputation and seek his acquittal.
The indictment released ahead of trial states: ‘On the morning of March 8, 2019, Andrew offered the defendant a payment of 200 Euros to amputate his penis, on the basis that it would go up to £2,500 depending on the number of times the video they planned to film it with was viewed on social media.
‘The accused accepted this proposal.
‘On the afternoon of March 8, just before 7.15 pm when both men were in the victim’s bedroom, Andrew tied his pyjama cord around the bottom of his penis to avoid hemorrhaging.
‘The accused, who was sat on a chair in front of him, cut his penis with a 12-inch kitchen knife which was never found because the accused got rid of it.’
