Nigerian transgender melts hearts after helping man survive cancer

Five months ago, a young Nigerian man, Kolawole Solomon Eguntola who uses the Instagram handle @Rhemy reached out to social media users begging for help after doctors told him he has blood cancer.

Rhemy revealed that he needed chemotherapy which will cost him 2.5 million Naira ($ 6,000).

He wrote, “I have been sick for the past 9months now, I was hospitalized at Lasuth Ikeja hospital and the doctor confirmed I had leukemia blood cancer and now they have to place me on chemotherapy which will cost about 2.5million. Which I don’t know what to do or where to get it cos I can’t eat or even move out of bed. Please my people I really need help right now. I’m dying and I don’t want to die please help me and God will bless you all.”

Celebrity cross-dresser Bobrisky, who was touched by the young man’s plight reached out and offered to helped him to pay for his medical bills.

Months down the line after his successful chemotherapy, Rhemy is looking all healthy and fresh as he used to be and took to his Instagram page to share his incredible transformation.

And it is not just Rhemy who is grateful to Bobrisky, under one of his appreciation posts, a user wrote “such a rare, rare gem” another person wrote “Not everyone has this grace, you are privileged, as much as God used Bobrisky to help you, my brother Jesus Loves you so so much serve him in spirit and in truth for longevity….. #giveyourlifegenuinelytochrist” 

Bobrisky is a popular Nigerian social media influencer. In December, she announced she is set to undergo sex reassignment surgery to become a woman.
